Counsellors Qualifications

Qualifications

All of our marriage counsellors are Registered Psychologists and/or Social Workers. Each has a four year undergraduate degree with a major in Psychology and/or Sociology from an accredited University. Each counsellor is also a fully registered member of their professional association (see below).

As well, all of our Registered Psychologists and Social Workers have completed additional post-graduate training in Couples and/or Family Therapy.

Our Registered Psychologists and Social Workers will also typically have completed a Master’s degree that takes an additional two to three years to obtain.

All of the Registered Psychologists and Social Workers who have partnered with this service have chosen couples and marriage counselling as their specialist field of endeavour. To this end, our counsellors are not “do counselling for all issues for all people,” they are specialists in the field of couples counselling.

In addition to being highly qualified, all of our Registered Psychologists and Social Workers are mature age and have many years experience in counselling couples and/or families.

Our Relationship Psychologists and Social Workers come with the best qualifications, the right attitude and with years of experience.

Registered Associations: APS, AASW, AAFT.
